Oh yay! It’s VDay! More often than not, I always do something with my hair every February (search hair color on my search box 💁🏼♀️), and same old same old, with pandemic and all, I still went to the salon and did it too(see my IG @chicsassymom) . 🤫 Most of my professional life, I sell soaps and shampoo. So hair care is a serious affair. I am a skincare and hair care addict too! 🙋🏼♀️ And my recent fixation haul is Ouai, pronounced “way”. “OUAI MEANS YES, IN THAT CASUAL, PARISIAN WAY.”
My first Ouai product was from my subscription in Allure. It’s a Texturizing Hair Spray, which is a dry shampoo + hair spray. I love, love the scent and I feel so chic and exquisite wearing it, and my friends can’t get enough of it too. So I’m sold. I went to Sephora and got a gift pack, and I love it, so I got more. Voila!

The Texturizing Hair Spray, Leave In Conditioner are scented North Bondi: Bergamot, Italian Lemon, Rose De Mai, Magnolia, Lily, Blackberry, Violet, Cedar-wood, Amber, Patchouli, Sandalwood, and White Musk.
Detox Shampoo, Scalp & Body Scrub, Super Dry Shampoo are scented Melrose Place: Rose, Bergamot, Lychee, Cedar-wood, and White Musk.
Fine Conditioner has Mercer Street: Orange, Peony, Magnolia, Jasmine, Musk and Orris.
The Heat Protection Spray smells Rue St. Honoré: Violet, Gardenia, Ylang Ylang, and White Musk.
My fave scents are North Bondi and Melrose Place. I got products based on what I needed, the Detox Shampoo has ACV (apple cider vinegar), which I’m such an avid fan and believer of all the good stuff that it does. I still feel that I need to take care of hair fall, so I went for the Fine Conditioner. Indeed, love at first wash! Then for styling, I use the heat protection and the leave in conditioner. My hair is soft and tangled free considering it had its share of bleaching and highlighting.
There is a clincher though, I need the Dyson curlers for it to be soft and silky. I don’t know how it works, because yes, I used both the Heat Protection before using the Dyson and the Leave In Conditioner after. But only if I use the Air Wrap curler attachments, that my hair tips look and feel silky. So Ouai and Dyson are perfect pair. Fave or Flop? Absolute Fave! Oh yay..they work like magic! So oui… très chic and bien!
