DIY Taco Wrap 🌯🌮

I made fresh tomato salsa, just because I have too many tomatoes sitting. Instead of tortillas, you can use nacho to make it like a taco salad. The Mexican sour cream sets out as a nice base, it brings the flavors together (though, I can’t still taste the difference vs. the classic sour creams 🤔). The same goes for the cheese, which can actually comes out almost bland, with just a little salty and cheesy taste to it, but it sets out to be a nice extender to the authentic Mexican Feast. (The cheese comes in a block…to make it crumble, I cut a portion of it, then in a zip lock bag, I mash it.) The cilantro, surprisingly, is not so overpowering, it’s not how I remember it from back home. It just blends perfectly and adds more crisps and fresh taste. My friends said that the chicken fajitas are as good, so we’ll save it for another time. Though, more often than not, we’re used to the fusion taste where tacos, nachos and quesadillas are sweeter and cheesier, no fresh salsa and cilantro. But so far, we’re keeping the whole experience as authentic as possible just like how we remember it at Tacos El Chavo, so I haven’t added any cheese (I love cheese! I hoard all kinds of cheese!) besides the crumbling cheese. It’s such a joy to do taco nights at home… cheesy, messy and greasy, sooooh good! 😋
