I have limited talent on singing, let alone memorizing song lyrics. That’s probably why Korean and Chinese drama OSTs work for me…perfectly! If you’ve been reading my blog since 10 years ago, you would know that I tend to obsessively be a die hard fan of stuff I adore. Think Bubba on his love and adoration for shrimps. I can talk about “my shrimps” all day, passionately. I’m no music expert, but since I tend to overthink stuff (to a fault), it limits my playlist choices especially on English songs. Hah. Of course, I do keep the music we grew up with. Music and lyrics (message) matter. Although, for my Korean and Chinese songs, which make 90% of my playlist on Apple Music, not only they’re euphonious but mostly I connect them to the dramas and the whirlwind of emotions I had while watching them. Anyhow, I love Coldplay. I don’t remember if I wrote about seeing them in a concert. But I did. Big check on my Bucket List, and just because I’m Bubba, I can watch them over and over again. But proudly, I’m no one-track mind, I’m so open to new things. I’m easily charmed. My fan girl heart is big. Like after meeting Lawson and hearing Where My Love Goes, I’m sold! Anyhow, since we’re Team Stay Home, we can all use a good and nice song to sing along with. My current fave is Valentine by COIN.
