Navigating Existential Crisis when No Korean Drama works

Oh hello, hello! I’m okay! 👌🏻Fret not on the post title, I have a flair of being dramatic. 😅I’m on a crisis mode because I felt a sudden disconnect with my Korean and CDramas (ottoke 🥺what to post on my IG @noonades?!). Backstory. Oh well, some dreams are too awesome not to chase, so here we are on our 29th month chasing our California dreams. Life here, it seems can be amazing, but it’s not easy. There are trade offs, heartaches and sacrifices aplenty. It’s basically life as we know it, so what’s not to like, or love even. I just have to live in the moment. I find comfort on my “me-time”, which before I get from my drama marathons. (Let’s call it out, shall we, I’m a 38 year-old ahjumma and proud fangirl! 🙋🏻‍♀️😅✌🏻) But now, nothing works…I don’t feel blissful watching anything. 😭 I can even go on days not watching anything!!! Please help me, cinggu! I need inspiration.

I am a Capricorn, naturally, so no rest for my old soul. But I daresay I’m aging gracefully, just because I’m so vain (kikay forever) and I’m so committed on my skincare routine.  More often than not, I now dress the part too. Hah.

I’m so pleasantly busy with work, and our little family of three is so used to the daily grind of living here with nothing better to do except work, school for Chaseyboy, do house chores, family bonding for a moment or two, and then “me-time”.  The upside, because I don’t watch dramas as I do before, I have time to go to the gym. Here’s the real trivial problem… the bad side, I miss work, I miss the busy exchange of calls, emails and text. I must be crazy!!! I can easily pass as somebody who doesn’t have a life! I am officially a workaholic!!! Weekends are super lazy, unless I go out shopping (that’s worse!), the worst part, the only way to make Chaseyboy (my 9th grade son) go out is to bring him out shopping too! So here’s my recourse, just so I don’t end up bothering co-workers, or shopping, I’ll write a post or two! Let’s do this! Aja! ✌🏻🙌🏻
