New Hair Highlights | #ChicSassyMomFinds

Annyeong, cinggu! 🤗Oh my, so I was seriously MIA, not only with real life drama, but mostly just because I feel like Instagram killed blogging. And I’m so sad, because I’m so bad at it (but I try as @chicsassymom). I thought with blogging, if I work diligently, I feel like I’m actually good at it. Plus I do love to write… a lot. So I’m back here in my happy space, so please prove me wrong, leave me a comment below.

Anyhow, so they say that one’s mood depends on how the hair looks 💁🏼‍♀️…for me? Sometimes. Because more often than not, my hair depends on my #fangirl mood. And it was on all time high last time because of …😉🤫So bring on the highlights! ❤️🙆🏼‍♀️

You ought to know that I’m so into hair coloration (read here, here, and here too), but it has been a while since I had one after coming to California. First off, it’s pricey, and my black hair is unique amidst the sea of blonde hair 😅 for sometime I was okay with it, but my fangirl heart was just so happy last time so I needed a new hair adventure. And to my happiness, I finally found a go-to salon in Fremont. I found them when I yelped Korean Salon near me, surprise surprise, they’re European, but I’m pleasantly delighted! 💁🏼‍♀️

I did crown highlights. Never fails, I’m always worried on the turnout. I like it just dramatic enough, not too blonde, definitely not too yellow. I’m not yet ready to don a platinum blonde hair ala Elsa of Frozen. But who knows. It was yellow when she tested it, but she toned it to that nice perfect color. Safe side for know.

I had a $50 haircut before, and the crown highlights was for less than $150, so give and take with tip, it was for a $200 bill. Not bad. I can do this more often! Cheers! ✌🏻
