Sawasdee!Β Our comfort food in California is Thai ( I know, I was hoping to say Korean, but then there’s not as much reasonably priced resto in the area, I miss
Shik Do Rak). We’ve probably tried out 5 different Thai Resto since arriving. I always order Pad Thai. There were hits and misses. It’s nice that my go-to Thai Resto is just a drive away from where we are staying. But meantime,
Trader Joe’s offering (this and so much more) doesn’t disappoint. For the price and ease of preparation (sorry not sorry for liking instant food π€·π»ββοΈ), it’s as good as it gets. π

Trader Joe’s Tru Thai Vegetable Pad Thai |

Easy peasy…dun, dun, duuuun. ππ» Let’s eat. A-roi!!! π |
Trader Joe’s Pad Thai works to satisfy my cravings, what’s not to like, you have the must-have tofu for added texture, bean sprouts (which surprisingly remains crisp), and the greens. No lime though. But still, it’s flavorful (perfectly sweet, sour and salty). Like most microwave food, it’s best to be eaten right away. It’s probably not the best pad thai out there, though it remains to be seen since I can’t really establish the right measure since I haven’t been to Thailand. But of all those pad thai’s I had here and there, I reckon it’s an impressive alternate. For $2.99, I’ll take it any day. Cheers! ;-D
