Japan Travel Part 1: Highlights of #Christmas2015 #NewYear2016 in Japan #MtFuji

Konnichiwa! Happy New Year! ;-D

Hope everyone had a great family time over the course of Christmas break. We had a wonderful time, and I can’t wait to fangirl about everything Japanese. My, my, we’re officially turning Japanese (only for travel destination, I am still a hopelessly devoted Korean drama fangirl ;-D). Anyhow, we had total of 9 amazing days in Japan…Osaka,Tokyo, Kanazawa and Kyoto, been there, done that. Yay!

We’re pleasantly broke, chubbier cheeks and all, but we had the grandest time. Here are few of many highlights of our trip.

A check off our bucket list, see Mt. Fuji.

Lucky. On our way to Tokyo from Osaka aboard the Shinkansen, I was star struck with this wondrous scene. Mt. Fuji along Shin-Fuji Station.Β With this wonderful sign, I know 2016 is ours for the taking. Thank You, Lord.Β

We initially devoted a day trip to Hakone to see Mt. Fuji, really lucky that we had the chance to see it. My husband on his previous trip, spent a visit to Shin Fuji station to catch a glimpse, only to be disappointed. (There is basically nothing much to do in Shin Fuji. Via Shinkansen, it’s another 1 hour from Tokyo Station (2 hours from Shin-Osaka Station, without Japan Rail Pass, it comes with a hefty cost of about 10K Yen roundtrip. I will do a separate post about Japan Rail Pass.)

Shibuya Crossing. And yes, we did several walks and runs. I had a video of Chaseyboy, my son, running across all sides of the intersection. Teehee ;-D From Shinjuku JR Station, take the Yamanote Line to Shibuya.Β
Creating Memories. #Love
Osaka is love. Glico Running Man along Dotonbori River.Β
Amazing Shinkansen Rides. The JR Pass allowed us to take Shinkansen all we like all over Japan. #Daebak

From my track record of my previous Korea Trip, of the four days I stayed there, I had about 6 posts, so will probably have a lot more this time, please stay tuned for more Japan ravings. Cheers! ;-D
