I went to Walmart, and didn’t check out Hard Candy…oh no! Thankfully, my cousin did, and gifted me these lovely candies. These are highly popular products apparently…pretty and functional at super affordable price! So here goes my first ever Hard Candy review.
 |
I got “in love (315)” and “pillow talk (316)”. |
 |
Hide and Glow Cheek Duo Cheek Tint comes in a stick twisty packaging a la glue stick. Transparent so you see the color and just how much there is. I don’t actually need a lot to get the effect I like. Photos were taken just recently after a couple of months usage already. |
 |
Swatches. “in love” offers coral pink (silver speckled), and peachy pink (golden speckled) on the other end. “pillow talk” has the bright pink on one end and a light coral on the other. I have mixed emotions on the pigmentation, they seemed more pigmented when applied on my face, but that’s the idea, so don’t fret! ;-D But to get these swatches, it took so much strokes and layers to show colors in my camera (Canon EOS M) although I did get similar results from our Canon EOS 7D. |

Hard Candy Hide and Glow Cheek Tint Product Description: Cream cheek color duo delivers a just blushed look. Wear together or alone. |
 |
On me. Unblended “pillow talk” under warm lighting. |
 |
“pillow talk” unblended. blended. |

FOTD. #Instagram #Selfie ;-D |
Let me quickly tell you what I don’t like about it…when applied they have a funny scent, but dissipates after a while. Other than that, I’m okay to keep them. First off, no breakouts. Easy to swipe because it’s gel based cheek tint that is super creamy, but needs blending. I use
The BeautyBlender! As mentioned, on me, pigments last me a day’s work. Although, I set it with powder. I live in the Philippines, I need to set my makeup with powder pact, or else I melt. Remember that I have a
Benefit Cosmetics go-to blush, it comes with a hefty price, and I haven’t got around to getting more shades, so these niceties are nice to have for everyday wear.
Overall, notwithstanding that these are gifts, the price to repurchase is very right. Sells at Walmart online for $6+. I look forward to my next
Walmart trip. I love Walmart (I have yet to do a quick post on my shopping finds there, I visited on the morning before my flight, so it was a short but oh so sweet trip!) Anyhow, I have yet to try more Hard Candy goodies, hope to be back soon for another review. Cheers! ^_^
