F.O.T.D. + Review: The Face Shop Pastel Collection Lovely Me: EX Tint and Blush

Lovely Monday! ๐Ÿ˜€ It’s not for anything else, but my lack of diligence that I’ve dilly dallied on two of my makeup staples from The Face Shop. They’re still part of myย not-so recent haul to The Face Shopย as featured in the Pastel Romance Spring Trend 2012 Collection.

The Face Shop Lovely Me:Ex Milky Tint in 01 Baby Pink. Product Feature: This milky lotion-type tint, with a moisturizing film made of milk and natural berry extracts, gently protects the lips without dryness or smudging while making them appear attractive as if tinged with flower pigments.
Comes with a doe-foot applicator brush. Directions: Dispense an adequate amount and apply smoothly to the lips, creating natural gradation by applying darker on inner lips, and lighter toward the outside.ย

It’s creamy powdery leaving a smooth velvety finish… with Light Pink, Pink, Peach shades.ย

Sealed with a kiss! ๐Ÿ˜€ย I’m not really a fan of pink lippies, it’s more of my sister’s shade. I either go au naturel or red, extremes. But The Face Shop Milky Tint in Baby Pink is love! I’m a convert! I love everything about it, as in! It’s my go-to milk tint for the past couple of weeks. It’s so versatile, both for dress down or doll up days! I might sound like an advertorial, but I’m utterly wowed by this. It smells so sweet too, reminds me of strawberry taho in Baguio. ;-Dย
Superb lasting power too… still pinkish after a hearty rice meal! ;-D

Overall, I love the milky tint. I hope they’ll have it in reddish shade. It’s non-drying, so yes, the milky goodness does work. And the lasting power is remarkable too. It’s a bit hard to remove even with the UD Clean and Sober makeup remover. The only drawback is that it has all sorts of parabens listed on the ingredients, oh well. But still, I might repurchase very soon, because mine is halfway done.

As for the blusher, in fairness, this one is way better than my SkinFood Rose Essence Blusherย in terms of pigments. It’s almost comparable to that ofย Majolica Majorca’s Cheek Blusher’s.ย The final shade when swiped among the gradated shades is the go-to color between peach and pink, and that’s usually the shade I can confidently pull off. It goes for as a basic blusher, for blush color variety. But I still need to have a blush brush and a mirror to use it. Will I repurchase? It pains me to say that I haven’t finish a blusher yet, as in ever! Generally speaking, I blush naturally and very easily. Haha! Either I’m that blessed (natural blush…yay!), or I’m unhealthy of some sorts. But I do love to collect different blusher shades and designs, so I’ll have to check out other lines of The Face Shop.

  1. TFS is my ultimate korean MU brand that i super love! I haven't tried their Lovely Me:ex yet because I am a loyal user of their \”Face it\” line…I guess I have to consider trying out their other line ๐Ÿ™‚ Their Changpo Shampoo is simply the best too! ๐Ÿ™‚ The blusher is really nice, I love peachy pink blushes…it's not too strong and not too light…It's just right and it suits your complexion very well. Prettiness ๐Ÿ™‚
