SkinFood Much…Review of SkinFood Facial Cleansers

Hi! Before I’m off to start our weekend escapades (glorified duty free trips and you ought to know how much I love it there!), I’d like to give love (for the nth time) to SkinFood.

Featuring my SkinFood Facial Wash(es)…SkinFood Tea Trea Cleansing Foam, Green Tea Milk Cleansing Gel, and Green Tea Milk Cleansing Foam
These are what I’m currently using, although hubby finds himself using the Green Tea Milk Cleansing Foam too, he likes it because it’s non-drying unlike his usual facial wash. So yay, he’s willing to buy more of it. The Green Tea Milk lines come highly recommended, naturally Green Tea + Milk = Milk Tea Love. ๐Ÿ˜€ These are my 3rd, 4th, and 5th facial cleansers from Skin Food. A while back, I finished the WildBerry Milk Cleansing Cream first, and then went to get the WildBerry Milk Cleansing Foam next. You don’t really need that much, so cleansers lasted me a long time, so I got my money’s worth.ย
SkinFood Tea Tree Cleansing Foam:ย A foam cleanser that gently removes makeup with a refreshing feeling. ย Contains tea tree extract, a natural antibacterial agent, and AHA to effectively exfoliate dead skin with deep cleansing.ย
The Tea Tree with the Green Tea Milk Foam were included in my Myeongdong Korea Shopping Haul.ย ย The Tea Tree sells for 5700 KRW. This one stays in our shower area, I reach for it every other day, for prevention and cure, for those seasonal bad face day. The scent is distinctly Tea Tree-ish, it gets a bit overwhelming.ย
SkinFood Green Tea Milk Cleansing Foam: A refreshing cleansing foam combines fresh green tea extrct with smooth milk extract to wash away dirt and oil, leaving the skin pure and clear.ย
I got it for 4700 KRW in Seoul. Noticed the added Fresh labeling vs. WildBerry Milk’s Moist, although I couldn’t really distinctly tell the difference, since my skin feels the same, but naturally the Green Tea Milk seems to work best for oily skin, while the SkinFood WildBerry Milk’s line has reinforced nourishing and moisturizing benefits for dry skin. But since, I have combination skin, they both work fine with me.ย
SkinFood Green Tea Milk Cleansing Gel works similarly with the Cleansing Foam except it comes with a reinforced makeup removal function. I bought it at my fave and ever reliableย Korean eBay seller for Php 280.ย
Swatch. SkinFood Green Tea Milk Cleansing Gel and Majolica Majorca’s Automatic Eyeliner (which I ย applied at the SM Megamall Department store counter)
Majolica Majorca’s is best known for its long lasting eye makeup (mascara and eyeliners), so it’s not really effortless when I tried removing it. But the gel does work.ย

I have to say that the cleansing gel works generally well in removing makeup (BB Cream, lipsticks, blush, non-waterproof eye makeup), just remember to keep your eyes shut close, if you’re working in the eye areas. It doesn’t promise a tear-free application. I accidentally opened my eyes last time, and felt initial onset of stinging, so I rushed to wash it off. With that, I’m not braving to use this when removing my stubborn, hard-to-remove, true to themselves waterproof eye makeup a la Majolica Majorca’s mascara. Overall, it’s now my go-to everyday makeup remover, I like it because it truly leaves off fresh and clean feel. Will I repurchase? Definitely.

Yay! Much love goes out to SkinFood again. ;-D
