Review: SkinFood Gold Caviar Moist Fitting Cake

With my growing fondness of the Skin Food Gold Caviar line, I had to get the matching pressed powder to add in my growing stash of Gold Caviar’s. Surprisingly, few hours after last Saturday’s wedding, my makeup was not yet beyond saving (although it won’t hold true for my hair, so I tied it up in a bun. ;-D)! With the humidity, and all, I was still far from looking washed out, methinks. So with some touch ups, which is in the name of applying the moist fitting cake a la pressed powder, I took advantage of more photo opportunities. ;-D

Sharing my precious, albeit, I’m just halfway collecting the line, there are so much more! ;-D…SkinFood Gold Caviar Toner, Collagen Serum, Collagen Cream, Moist Brightening Powder Balls, and the Moist Fitting Cake No 2. Love them! 😀

SkinFood Gold Caviar Moist Fitting Cake No 2 with SPF 25 PA++…comes with the usual details I love about the brand…clear hard plastic lid separator for the puff, and the intricate, embossed SkinFood logo on the actual powder. I bought it on eBay Ph with the gift card I won in a giveaway, for Php 1000.

Just to say, I bought this not purely out of caprice (fret not, haha! :-D), I really do need to replace my SkinFood Sweet Potato Hydra Cushion pact, which I’m lavishly using for some time now.

Swatch. Comparing it with the Sweet Potato Hydra, this is more pigmented, and offers better matte coverage.

Loves: Everything! ;-D The eBay Ph makes it reasonably-priced. Anyhow, given those achievable promises of the product, coupled with my realized goodness of the Gold Caviar Skincare line, I’ll still probably get it regardless how much…albeit with eyes off the bill! ;-D

Although, I was a bit wary at first, because I already hit buy-it-now, before going for the available reviews online. I stumbled upon two mentions, it’s half-half…one best, one worst! So I hoped for the best. It’s a big plus that I got shade No. 2 Natural Beige, otherwise with a mismatched or a lighter BB Cream shade, it might leave a white cast. In effect, this can be worn stand alone, without leaving a baby-powdered look, which was my concern for the SkinFood Red Orange Sun Pact. So yes, I’m a huge fan! ;-D
