Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011 was one of the more intimate celebration we had in years. We usually spend it with our extended families, or out of town. This year, it was indeed a family affair. In a way, I didn’t rush through the preparations. It also didn’t matter much that my first attempt to do kimbap (Korean Rice Roll/Sushi) failed big time. Haha! 😀 I guess I’m better off buying ready-made kimbap to the ahjumma sellers. ;-D Albeit my Japchae (Korean Glass Noodle) was stellar. Yay! Except when I did it for the second time for my birthday yesterday, it was a bit on the salty side. 😦 Oh well! Anyhow, on with more fun stuff, gifts, outfits, and food. ;-D

Food Fest …Apple Pie, Ham (must have every time!), Kimbap, Snack Treats from SM Department Store (Vinamit JackFruit Chips (super love these! ;-P) Rgies Buttterschotch etc.) For this year, we decided to go Korean ++ themed-meals, we had samgyeopsal and Japchae.

I made a trip to the Korean Grocery to get all these, and had to go back for more…Addicted much! ;-D

For this Christmas, we decided to go for White (Black & White for me) dress theme. OOTD is White Top: ForMe/ Black Vest: Thrifted / Ruffled/Tutu Skirt: SM Department Store/  Heart Necklace and Ring: Accessorize/ Leather Studded Bracelet: SM Department Store

I’m mighty proud of Chase. He was able to wait for Christmas Eve to open his gifts. It’s actually an admirable trait of him, ever since. ;-D We didn’t get him much toy gifts because he has a room full of toys, so it’s all up to his grandparents and godparents to shower him with more toys.

As for our gifts, hubby got himself some more new gadgets. While, I got even more pairs of FitFlop. Yay! I’ll be back to do a post of them. ;-D
