Anyhow, there’s actually a story on the ‘sort of’ part, this is not really a planned purchase. Remember that my mom’s day gift is also an Apple gadget, but I rarely use it, since I’m mostly at home. Albeit, it’s obviously more useful to hubby especially when he goes out of the country. The Face Time is really just love. Hubby’s saying that maybe he needs to get his own, because we’re a bit keen on being proprietary. ;-D But I told him, he most definitely doesn’t need a new one! I traded my iPad to a new iPod touch, since this is handier when attending media events anyhow. ;-D You see we still can’t help being proprietary on the gadgets we own…a la hubby’s XBox, Chase’s XBox, my MacBook, etc. We even have our own work/play area, although, among the three of us (Son,Hubby), I’m the one who usually gets displaced. I’m the nomad, but that’s okay, I have more Apple gadgets than them. Hahaha. ;-D
Anyhow, we just got this because we had to trade the Philips 3D Blu-Ray player we got. We didn’t know at first that the freebie with the Samsung TV was also 3D ready model. So we bought beforehand. But since we only have one 3D Ready TV, we don’t really need an extra. So we just traded it for something. Tada! An iPod Touch for me! Happy Birthday to me. 😀

Advance happy birthday, Des! I got my Apple iTouch 4th gen last year as a birthday present too. I'm sure you're gonna love it and use it more often than iPad since it's smaller and very convenient to use 🙂
