Yay! Time flies when you’re having fun… ;-D I’ve been meaning to share these. For my hubby’s recent birthday, we decided to stay at home, and enjoyed home-cooked meals. But a birthday won’t be complete without a cake, but since we’re on a sugar-diet per se, I decided to just get cupcakes. 😀

I got them at the newly opened shop of Lailen’s Pastries near Essel Park Subdivision. Cup cake sells for Php 45/piece. They’re okay, albeit they could use a little more moistness. In fact, I even did a taste test per se, for comparison, before getting them. These Red Velvet Cup Cakes are way better than Toll House’s, although Cioccolo’s remains to be my favorite. But we enjoyed the S’mores, that is for the lack of comparison. It was a rush order anyhow, so maybe if you have them customized and baked-fresh before the event, they’ll taste even better. 😀 Lailen’s does great theme cakes too. Check it out in FB.
