Etude House Dear Darling Tint 03 Orange Red

I don’t really need another lip and cheek tint, but when compelled to stretch my purchase in Etude House, I went for another one anyway, but I made sure to get a unique color, Orange Red, or shouldn’t it be Red Orange? ;-D Oh well! Lucky for me though, it’s the only product I can try out again today without risking another breakouts, and not knowing which caused it. So I’m slowly, but surely, incorporating one skin care product at a time, so it would actually take me a while to go through my recent finds. ;-D

Oh! I just have to use that Beach Babe sticker from Picnik’s Life’s a Beach! ;-D Since, I’ll be wearing a tint with a hint of Tangerine anyhow. So cute! ;-D

I love the Miss Tangerine lines from Etude House, but I’m not sure if I can pull off the color scheme. I love the beach, but I’m not brave enough to get myself a sun kissed skin shade. So I went for the go between shade, Orange Red (03).

Here’s the swatch taken without flash. It’s a jelly textured lip tint.
It comes with a doe foot applicator. It smells strawberry. Sorry, I didn’t taste it! ;-D
Swatch on Lips with Gloss.
I’m trying to create my summer look pre-sun bathing.;-D Do you think it’s a bit too orange for my skin tone?
To pull off a more dramatic effect, I need a tan, methinks. ;-D
Since it’s a go between orange and red shade, I went for the simple eye makeup, although I wish I can pull off a Golden Goddess look very soon. ;-D I didn’t used the tint for my cheeks, I used a Cheek Powder Tint in Poppy Shade from an unearthed gift from the States, Artistry by Amway. I swatched both the lip tint and the blush, they seemed to match, ;-D

The tint sells for Php198, it’s relatively priced lower than the other lip tint lines of Etude House. Although, I had to apply quite a few strokes to even out the colors on my lips. I still prefer to add gloss afterwards. It has an acceptable lasting power, considering I can still see colors after taking my dinner. It’s a fun color, not my usual kind of thing. In time, I’ll probably be bolder to go for the total Miss Tangerine look. Unless, somewhat offers to recreate the look for me. And of course, I can only dream of my Golden Goddess look. Next summer perhaps.

Overall, the packaging especially the cover is cuteness overload. But it’s a bit too bulky for me. If you want to go for the totally tangerine lines, Etude House offers array of choices. There’s so much lip tints/sticks/gloss to choose from. But if I were to go for the red/pink shades, I still prefer Tony Moly’s. Will I repurchase? Probably not, either I go all out Tangerine or Stick to the Red’s, which is more of my turf.

  1. Wow! I think you look absolutely sun-kissed with that color on! Not too orange. I'm jealous that you take the time to make yourself look pretty! I definitely need to do that. Guess I'll have to now that I'm starting back to work in a couple of weeks…Visiting you from vB 🙂

  2. I think you can actually pull off the orangey color! It's bold… you'd just have to wear it with confidence (and make sure to make your lips your main focus). But I think you can make it work! I'm a HUGE lip gloss addict… I can't even count the number of lip glosses I have lying about in every purse and basket in my home! I wonder how long they last before they go bad? LOLAnyway, I'm stopping by from voiceBoks to show some love! Have a wonderful weekend! Smiles, Jenn @Misadventures in Motherhood
