Today is a local holiday in Angeles City. It’s that time of the year to offer prayers to those who perished in one of the major volcanic eruption of the century. Also, it marks the celebration of the city and the people’s triumph over the June 15, 1991 cataclysmic eruption of Mt. Pinatubo 20 years after.
