Oh well! Hallyu weekend for me! 🙂 In a way it’s feeding my depression of not having to win the dream grand prize of going to Seoul, South Korea (but I did win the 5th prize). So being the devoted hallyu addict that I am, I wanted to be updated to the latest KDrama –Playful a.k.a. Mischievous Kiss Korean Version! From the Japanese Manga series Itazura na Kiss. The 2005 Taiwanese Version’s “It Started with a Kiss!” and the sequels are I guess well-received. But personally, I just can’t seem to bring myself to watch it! The story is ok, just that I can’t seem to bond with the actress in that version. But with Kim Hyun Joong in the Korean Version, I’m actually looking forward to it! 🙂
I ♥ Kim Hyun Joong character in Boys Over Flowers as Yoon Ji Hoo. So naturally, I wanted to see how he does in this drama. Critics would say that he didn’t act well in the BOF, but personally, I like him in the BOF nonetheless and I watched BOF a dozen times (literally spent endless sleepless nights), and I think he played his role pretty well and within the character’s need –♥Ji Hoo Sunbae♥! My son thinks that he’s that cool too, he actually decided that he wanted to be a doctor like Ji Hoo in the drama. From then on, my definition of BFF is actually after his character! 🙂

4 Yr Old Chase as Dr. Jihoo (a well-loved character in Korean’s Boys Over Flowers) |
So as I happily and eagerly look forward to the progress of the drama, I’m so into Kim Hyun Joong playing the leading part here! No Comments! Hands down! I appreciate a good act, when I see one! For me, he’s just one of those guys that’s just worthy of ravings on and on! I’m committed to seeing this drama through and through! ♥♥♥
*And please, just to note, he is so not married! He just played a reality show wherein they were supposedly married! He played married to Hwang Bo(who is 6 years older than him! Awww!)

♥Sweet!♥ |
Regardless of what version, the story is about a girl,Oh Ha Ni, a clumsy student who falls the perfectionist, Baek Seung Jo. However Seung Jo is indifferent towards her and rejects her love. When Ha Ni’s house collapses, she and her father move into his long-time friend’s house. It turns out that Seung Jo is the friend’s son and Ha Ni is given the opportunity to be near the guy she loves…and so their adventure begins! 🙂 It’s again about being young and in love, and in the quest of finding true love, one needs to endure the drama that comes along with it! 🙂
Oh by the way, worth raving about is that I ♥ Seung Jo’s mom! She is really cool and sweet to Oh Ha Ni! 🙂 Matchmaker eh! 🙂
Celebrate being fabulous, young and in love! 🙂
